Before installation

Use the printer manufacturer service manual for your exact model. Power down and disconnect the equipment, allow hot components to cool, and use appropriate electrostatic-discharge precautions.

Compatibility check

Compare the printer model, DPI, connector arrangement, print width, and part number with the replacement component. Installation should be completed by a trained technician when required by the manufacturer.

After installation

Inspect alignment and connections before restoring power. Follow the manufacturer procedure for calibration, test printing, and printhead pressure or darkness settings.
